Geneva (26 October 2015): The Conventions' Depositary - the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs - has officially informed the Governments of the 19 Contracting States as well as the Government of Italy that due to the Czech Government's objection, Italy cannot accede to the Convention. At the same time, the Depositary has urged the Contracting States to consider whether to offer mediation or any other mean to settle the dispute.
