KRISOS is a national association established for the purpose of protecting the interests of accredited Laboratories that perform the functions prescribed in Law 17/1985 of July 1, and RD 197/1988 of February 22, on Objects Made with Precious Metals as a means of preserving the economic interests of consumers and users, in terms of the quality of jewelry items, through adequate and effective control of these, through the implementation of the UNE-EN ISO/CEI 17025 standards. The creation of KRISOS has provided the Administration with a support tool to foster consensus in decision-making affecting the jewelry sector in Spain.
The current members of KRISOS are:
